Intentions & Purpose

A passionate and creative mother innovated a skincare line that came to fruition at the time of her pregnancy . Inspired by her son's severe eczema, she worked to create a viable solution for his well-being. A graduate of Aveda Beauty school in Florida, our creator, Krystal, came to learn that the cream she made to tackle her stretch marks during pregnancy was a little more valuable than she thought. She had realized she made something beyond body butter — and it is a legacy in the making.

This butter healed her son’s eczema. However, once they moved back home to Rhode Island, his skin began to suffer from flare ups. She continued researching. She continued educating herself. Tis this is when the 'Joint Drip' came to be. It worked so effectively and she strongly believed it was due to the basic ingredients that she used. There’s no secret behind Butter Me Down: there is only science and the combination of ingredients works as a force. When she shared her products with the world, the overwhelming response was, “THIS WORKS!” 

 You are all you need to find healing. You must be determined and believe you can obtain it. You must be disciplined and stay committed. You must believe before you see! The results can be mind-blowing, more-so because you truly realize that you’ve been beautiful all along… it just takes releasing all your doubts and insecurities. Our story began with planting one seed, and so does your skin journey.
